A closer look at Mary Katrantzou...

Ok so I thought I was in love with Mary Katrantzou's Fall 2012 collection

BUT then I started finding close ups of her collection and realized I'm not in love, I'm obsessed!!!

The images I saw on Style.com, don't do this collection justice.  What appeared as a solid color or simple pattern were actually everyday objects like watches, pencils, spoons, typewriters and hangers. 

AMAZING!

Betsey Johnson Fall 2012

It was so nice to finally get to see my extraordinary ex- boss, the one and only Betsey Johnson!

The show show opened with an early sixties-era video clip of girls screaming on the

 tarmac as they awaited the arrival of the Fab Four.

What followed on the runway was a high-speed tour of Carnaby Street's golden age,

with skinny herringbone suits, boyish coats, and miniskirts eventually giving way to psychedelic prints, maxi dresses, and fluffy faux fur trim.

Was working for a client this week creating under the sea inspired prints and stumbled upon

some really beautiful images of natural patterns and colors found on starfish,

sea anemones and other sea creatures.
